Workshop is my twice weekly group of singers and actors testing new material.
The Ethical Culture School -- I am the pianist/accompanist for the fifth grade chorus. In the spring I play for the fourth grade musical. This year it will be "Honk!" -- a retelling of the ugly duckling story adapted from Hans Christian Andersen. I also coach the fifth grade kids in their Spanish songs. And I accompany incidental things throughout the year: assemblies, concerts and the like.
I am the pianist and musical director at HB Studio for one of Ann McCormack's classes, Musical Theater Performance Lab. This fall we will be working on scenes from the musical "Chicago".
The Lambs, the oldest theatrical social club in the country -- I am the pianist for the Friday night Lo-Jinks, at which the members of the Lambs sing and otherwise entertain each other over dinner.
In my own studio I coach and help prepare actors and singers for audition and performance, including jazz, classical and musical theater styles. I also compose and do arrangements, particularly vocal arranging.
